Challenges in paediatric perfusionDepartment of Paediatric Cardiac Surgery, Birmingham Childrens Hospital NHS Trust, Birmingham, UK, elizabeth.leeson{at}bhamchildrens.wmids.nhs.uk In the last 50 years cardiopulmonary bypass has evolved dramatically, so that even the most complex heart lesions can be repaired successfully.
